You know who I am rooting for (I gotta, after all! Heterchromia Unite!) but I'll be damned if Saxton isn't growing on me. Definitely excited to see how this plays out. Is it wrong for me to have been happy that Blay made a potentially bad mistake with a Certain Other Character? I think the serious case of jealousy that is going to come about will make his storyline all that much more enjoyable. Perhaps it was merely she was worn out not to mention only half? She certainly proved later on when she was near 100% that sympaths could be downright wicked. I was a little miffed at how at points how Xhex was a sympath was downplayed almost to the point where it was like something that could be turned on/off when needed instead of being like a psychic and psycho beast living behind your own eyes. It took a while before these two figured things out and that made it all the more satisfying to read.

I think I got a taste of that with John and Xhex in this book. A few reviews ago, I had mentioned how I would have liked to see a pairing that perhaps at first they were not smitten with each other, may even at times not be able to stand each other.
